Overview

These terms govern your use of the PlanetProxy service, apps, and website. By signing up you accept them. They’re short on purpose — if a term feels surprising, write to us.

The service is provided by BYTESTWENTYFOUR SOLUTIONS PRIVATE LIMITED (“we”, “us”), a Panama-domiciled company.

Your account

You need a valid email and a working payment method to use any paid plan. You’re responsible for keeping your password to yourself; we don’t store it in cleartext and can’t recover it for you.

One account, six devices on the Atlas plan; per-seat on Bureau. Sharing a single account with users outside your household will eventually trip our abuse heuristics — we’ll email you before suspending.

Fair use

The service is “unlimited” in the way most consumer services are unlimited: you may saturate your line for as long as you like, but you may not:

  • Resell PlanetProxy capacity to third parties.
  • Use the service to attack, scan, or denial-of-service other systems.
  • Send unsolicited bulk email through our exits.
  • Distribute material that’s illegal in your jurisdiction or in Panama.

We don’t monitor your traffic to enforce this — we couldn’t if we wanted to. We act only when an exit IP is reported to us by an upstream network and we have legal grounds.

Billing

We bill monthly, yearly, or biennially based on the plan you pick. The price you sign up at is the price you renew at — we don’t use introductory pricing that jumps. VAT is applied where required by your jurisdiction.

Renewals happen on the day your previous term ends. We email a receipt and a 7-day renewal warning so you’re never surprised. Cancel any time, instantly, from your dashboard.

Refund policy

Within 30 days of any first-time paid signup (or any new term on Bureau, within 60 days), email [email protected] from the address on your account and ask. We process the refund the same business day, no questions, no “why are you leaving” survey, no friction. After the window we don’t refund unused time, but you can cancel and stop renewing.

Service availability

We aim for 99.95 % uptime across the network. Bureau plans get a contractual SLA; consumer plans don’t. If we miss SLA on Bureau we credit affected accounts at 10× the downtime, capped at one month of fees.

Maintenance windows are announced 7 days in advance via email and the in-app banner.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

We don’t guarantee that the service makes you anonymous to a state-level adversary, that it bypasses every geographic restriction, or that any specific website will work over our tunnel. We do guarantee that we’ll keep our part of the bargain — no logs, audited code, honest billing.

Termination

You can close your account from the dashboard at any time. We delete the account record within 30 days of closure. Your billing record is retained for 7 years where required by tax law in our jurisdiction; everything else is purged.

We may suspend an account that’s in violation of the Fair Use clause. We email before we suspend, except in the case of an active attack from the account.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of Panama. Disputes are resolved by arbitration in Panama City under the rules of the Panamanian Center of Conciliation and Arbitration. Nothing here removes consumer-protection rights granted by your home jurisdiction where those are mandatory.

Changes

Material changes will be emailed to every active customer at least 30 days before they take effect. The full revision history is on our blog at /blog/terms-changes. The current version is dated above; the previous version remains available there.
